Fordingbridge Model Railway
Exhibition 2016
On Saturday 16 April, Fordingbridge Rotary Club thrilled visitors from near and far with a wonderful assembly of seventeen model railways.
The fantastic range 0, 00 and N gauge exhibits created scenes from history, Wimborne Station, Longmoor Military Railway, Lynton and Barnstable, Morten Hampstead, along with scenes from the days of Southern Railways, GWR, SGK Bannhauf and the largest American Railroads seen in the south.
Outside, visitors were greeted with music and steam being generated from two working models: a showman’s engine and organ, accompanied by a Burrells engine, both owned locally.
